SMSlifeline is a service that links mobile phones with computers via the internet, opening up new lines of communication for people with speech and hearing difficulties.

Thanks to SMSlifeline...

• A person who's unable to speak following a stroke could now book theatre tickets when they're on the train home.
• A library could remind an elderly customer with hearing loss that their books are overdue.
• And, a deaf person could call out a roadside rescue service when their car has broken down.

The more organisations sign up  to use the service, the easier life will become for people who, up to now, have faced serious communication challenges every day.
